Welcome to my Watercolour and Mixed media paintings.

I am a Suffolk, UK based artist who specialises in watercolour and mixed media depictions of the East Anglian scenery. I started my watercolour journey in the early 1990s while living in Dubai. My love of the medium has stayed constant and the East Anglian ‘big’ skies and light that dominate its sea and landscapes have proved wonderfully inspirational for me. I became a professional artist in 2008 following the commercial success I began to enjoy when attempting to 'get my work out'. I love to paint impressionistic, loose and vibrant paintings and am equally happy painting a portrait of a family member, favourite pet or the beautiful coastline near my home in North Suffolk. I also undertake commission work.

I am an Associate memeber of The Institute of East Anglian Artists (IEA). I belong to Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle (NNA), and the Society of All Artists (SAA). I also show my work at various local exhibitions in Norfolk and Suffolk. Solo shows are planned for 2016 at The Gallery, Picturecraft, Holt, Norfolk and at The Quay Gallery at Snape Maltings, Snape.

My work can also be seen at Picturecraft Gallery, Holt, Norfolk, Ferini Gallery, Pakefield, Lowestoft, Suffolk, The Sheep Shop, Cambridge.
My work is also available to view at my home in North Suffolk.

I have had my work accepted at the Society of Women Artists (SWA) exhibition at The Mall Galleries and won awards in local art societies including Southwold Art society. My work has also been accepted into the juried exhibitions of the Society of East Anglia Watercolourists (SEAW).

The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra purchase ‘Beached At Aldeburgh’ as a gift for their Principal Conductor, Yutaka Sado, which was presented on the culmination of the Orchestra’s 2011 tour to Japan.
Several of my paintings have received awards including ‘Minsmere Reeds’ which received the SAA (Society of All Artists) Artist of the Year 2012, in the Best Professional Landscape and Woodland Scene category.
